Melody is a very loving mare who likes children. She has a inquisitive nature and is a very fast learner. She is gentle and easy going. She is good on the ground and responds very quickly to leg and seat aids. She rides with a rope halter and has no bolting, bucking or rearing vices. She is however very afraid of men. She is easy to work with(feet, groom, tack, dip, etc.)
Suitability:
Melody would make a great endurance horse for a light weight female rider. She has strong, hard hooves and is kept barefoot. Her shoulder has a nice slope and she has a nice strong trot for long distances. In the past year she has been doing lots of outrides, lunging and hill work as she was suppose to compete at her first 30km ride. She will also make a best friend for a young child and make a stunning show pony. She is very flashy. She shows potential in jumping and dressage.
