Description
Desmond Daubermann (Spike) is a South African who is making high quality custom knives since 1991. He is currently living in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa where he has a workshop from where he designs and produces the masterpieces.
In addition to his own unique designs, he can also produce knives to customer’s requirements.
Each knife is delivered with a pouch or snap-type sheath, hand-made or the finest 8 -10 ounce leather, which is vegetable tanned. Alternatively, a purpose-made presentation box of oak, stinkwood, teak or other wood can be requested.
Natural material are his preference for handles and he is using use many exotic woods, buffalo horn, boar tusks,
as well as various ivory. He has found natural materials to be very suitable for hunting and camping knives.
He prefers to use N690, K110 and Sanvick stainless steel, because he feels it is most practical, for most applications. He also work with Damascus steel such as random pattern, ladder pattern, twist pattern and dragon scales.
GUARANTEE: All knives are unconditionally guaranteed. If you are not 100% satisfied on completion of your
order, you are under no obligation to accept the knife. Any knife with defects in materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced.
