What is Teak Plastic Composite ?
Teak-plastic composite is a composite material made of recycled plastic and teakwood waste. Our TPC we use for our following products: snap & go tm ( www.snap-and-g.com ) , decking, outdoor furniture and door frames Our product looks like wood but has no disadvantages like wood it is rot resistant, there is no cracking or splitting and it even smells like wood!
The color of the material does not change for many years which both assures good appearance. The composite decking can be assembled with nails or screws. In our projects we use the innovative and popular mounting clip system.
Teak plastic composite is composed of wood from recovered saw dust we use only teak wood dust further we use recycled HDPE (high-densitypolyethylene) The powder or fibers are mixed to a dough-like consistency and then extruded or molded to the desired shape. Additives such as colorants, coupling agents, stabilizers, blowing agents, reinforcing agents, foaming agents, lubricants help tailor the end product to the target area of application. Our material is formed into both solid and hollow profiles or into injection molded parts and products.
